Real estate magazine and portal „City24.lt“ announced the winners of the competition „The Project of the year 2008“ on 14 January. „Sun sonata“ development received the prize for the best second home project in Lithuania.

 

The main criteria of the jury that was chaired by the well known Lithuanian architect Algirdas Kaušpėdas, was architecture, harmonious development, interior planning, building quality and pricing.

 

“First time might be an accident, the second one is the rule. We received this award because there is a strong and professional team working on this project”, said Mr Rimvydas Baranauskas, director general at “Prime Real Estate” – the company that received the second award for best second home already.

 

 

„Sun sonata“ is the unique development in the centre of Druskininkai, created by seven famous Lithuanian architects. The quarter consisting of seven villas and 170 turn-key apartments and 3.000 square meters of commercial premises will be built by the end of 2010.

 

“Prime Real Estate” already owns the one prize for the best project of the year. The first award was dedicated fro “Vila Nova” in Pervalka, Neringa (www.vilanova.lt) .

 

In its activities “Prime Real Estate” has chosen a clear direction – since 2005 it is developing high quality second home projects in the nicest resorts of Lithuania.
