A modern, Scottish style golf club will be opened just 19 kilometres from Druskininkai in 2009. The site will be surrounded by forest and will have 18 holes. It was designed by a Swedish architect and construction works are supervised by the expert from USA. The total area of the site is 65 hectares and the game distance will exceed 6 kilometres.
